Ingredients
  

Main Components:

  • 12 oz 340g fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes oil-packed, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese + extra for garnish
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Protein (Choose One):

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts sliced
  • 1 lb 450g large shrimp, peeled

Garnishes:

  • Fresh basil or parsley chopped
  • Red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

1️⃣ Cook Pasta:

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

2️⃣ Sear Protein (If Using):

  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet. Cook chicken (5-6 mins/side) or shrimp (2-3 mins/side). Set aside.

3️⃣ Make Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil. Sauté garlic (1-2 mins), then add sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Pour in cream, then stir in Parmesan and Italian seasoning until thickened.

4️⃣ Combine:

  • Toss pasta, protein, and sauce in the skillet. Add reserved pasta water as needed.

5️⃣ Serve:

  • Garnish with extra Parmesan, fresh herbs, and red pepper flakes.
