- ½ cup cocoa powder unsweetened, high-quality
- ½ cup powdered sugar adjust to taste
- ½ cup milk powder full-fat for creaminess
- ¼ cup coconut oil or cocoa butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
Fill a pot with 1–2 inches of water and bring to a simmer. Place a heatproof bowl on top to make a double boiler.
Add coconut oil or cocoa butter to the bowl and melt completely, stirring occasionally.
Sift together cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk powder in a separate bowl.
Gradually add the dry mix to the melted oil, stirring constantly until smooth. Add vanilla extract if using.
Pour the mixture into a lined mold or tray. Tap gently to remove air bubbles.
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm. Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving for best texture.
