  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add diced tomatoes and vegetable broth. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and let the sauce simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm, garnished with extra basil or Parmesan if desired.
